Perhaps you’ve seen them in shopping malls, grocery stores, airports, office or churches.  Now, these life saving devices are available for purchase through Mobile Medical Response.  MMR has partnered with Zoll Medical to bring the most user friendly AED on the market into our communities.

An AED or automated external defibrillator is a device that delivers and electrical shock to a person having a heart attack or cardiac arrest.  This electrical shock actually stops the chaotic activity within the heart allowing it to return to a more normal rhythm.  Early cardiac defibrillation (within the first three minutes of cardiac arrest) is key to survival and quality of life. 

AEDs are easy to use and you can’t hurt anyone by using this device. MMR selected the Zoll AEDPLUS simply because it is the only AED available with stet-by-step audio instruction and feedback for performing effective CPR.  The special design of the Zoll AEDPLUS make this device easy to find and carry, unintimidating and extremely user friendly for all types of rescuers.

In addition to our AED sales, we can provide your organization with all the necessary education, training and support to make your rescue program successful.  MMR provides American Heart Association CPR and AED training – good for two years.  We will register your AED in our sales center so that we can alert you when you need new batteries or electrode pads for your unit.  We’ll even let you know when it’s time to recertify in CPR.
