MainStreet Messenger

HELP IS JUST A PHONE CALL AWAY

Are you living alone? Do you know someone who is? Perhaps it's your mother or father. Or an elderly neighbor. What if there is an emergency? Will anyone be there to assist?

MainStreet Messenger is MMR's personal help alarm, perfect for older adults living alone or anyone who may need extra assistance at the touch of a button. The MainStreet Messenger can contact up to five responders such as family or neighbors if a person needs help. The MainStreet Messenger system will continue to dial until the call for help is answered. MainStreet Messenger will immediately contact MMR directly if the other responders are unavailable. MMR can send out an ambulance and rescue team to assist the person calling for help if needed. The MainStreet Messenger help alarms are monitored right in the Medical Communications Center at MMR in Saginaw.

EASY TO USE

The MainStreet Messenger becomes the main telephone in a user's home and can be used for regular incoming and outgoing calls. The MainStreet Messenger alarm activates when the user pushes a button that is connected to a wristband or pendant alarm. When the alarm is activated the phone becomes a speaker phone and can be heard from all areas within the home.

MMR personnel will come to the home to set up the alarm system, program all the responder numbers and train the user, family members or neighbors on how to use the system.

The slim, lightweight handset is fully hearing aid compatible. The illuminated keypad comes with oversized keys for quick recognition. Visual ringing indicates incoming calls with a flashing keypad for hearing impaired users.

MAINTAIN INDEPENDENCE

MainStreet Messenger can help you or your loved one continue to live independently. When there is an emergency, help is just a phone call away.

MainStreet Messenger is affordable with the installation fee of just $35.00. A monitoring fee of $39.95 will be billed to the user on a monthly basis.
