MMR and Pulse3 Foundation launched the PulsePoint phone app at 6th Annual Shocks and Saves® Charity Hockey game in February, 2013. At the time, the Saginaw area was the 12th community in the US to have access to this truly life-saving technology. Since then, we have expanded the PulsePoint access to include Gratiot, Isabella and Clare Counties. Over 6,300 individuals have downloaded the PulsePoint phone app to their smartphones.
Trained Bystanders: Download the free PulsePoint app on smart phones and agree to perform CPR when called upon. The app sends a “CPR NEEDED” alert to your phone with the location of a cardiac arrest (within walking distance) and the nearest automated external defibrillator or AED.
