CPR/AED/First Aid

Mobile Medical Response's Education Department offers Community CPR, AED and First Aid classes every month in Saginaw. All classes begin at 6:00 p.m. sharp until approximately 10:00 p.m.. Anyone arriving after 6:15 p.m. will be asked to attend the next scheduled class.  Classes are held at our Education Offices (2nd floor at MCVI), located at 1015 South Washington Ave. in Saginaw. Onsite training for groups of six or more is available. Please contact us for details. Students should pre-register prior to all classes. Payment is due before the class to guarantee placement.

Healthcare Provider

This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.  Certification - 2 years.

Program Fee: $51

Heartsaver CPR/AED

Heartsaver® CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills.  Certification - 2 years.

Heartsaver First Aid

Heartsaver® First Aid is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies.  Certification - 2 years.

American Heart Association CPR Instructor Course

The American Heart Association CPR instructor course certifies the participant to teach the AHA "BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers & Professional Rescuers" in addition to all the AHA Heartsaver programs including: adult CPR, child CPR, infant CPR, AED use, first aid, pediatric CPR/first aid, and bloodborne pathogens.


  • Must have BLS for Health Care Providers card for a minimum of 1 year. 
  • Align with an AHA Training Center accepting new BLS Instructors 
  • Follow this link: Instructor Network.
  • Complete the BLS Instructor Essentials course located at www.onlineaha.org  There is a $30.00 charge for this online course.  Please bring your certificate of completion to your Instructor course.
  • Attend the in-person , skills practice -driven, Faculty-led BLS Instructor Course.
  • Be monitored by TC Faculty while teaching your first course.
