About the Course

EMS
Instructor/Coordinator
Course

The fundamental responsibility of a Michigan EMS Instructor-Coordinator (I/C) is to ensure the effective planning, delivery, and evaluation of EMS education programs in accordance with state standards and regulations.
Mobile Medical Response Education Consortium and Affiliates offers this program as a hybrid of classroom and online learning. Combining live classroom instruction with Internet-based distance learning allows for less time to be spent in the classroom to accommodate the working student. Students who successfully complete this program will receive a certificate of completion and be eligible to challenge the MDHHS Instructor/Coordinator exam.
EMS Instructor/Coordinator (I/C) Admission Criteria:
  • Currently licensed and in good standing as an MFR, EMT-B, EMT-S, or EMT-P with the State of Michigan.
  • Three years of full-time work experience as an MFR, EMT-B, EMT-S, or EMT-P with an EMS agency that provides patient transport. Proof of this requirement will be requested prior to the start of class.
Mobile Medical Response has been providing medical transportation across Michigan since 1994
